Stomping Ground Photo reinvented the school picture by bringing modern, joyful school photos to the world. In our more than ten years in business we’ve changed the landscape of Picture Day. Kids, families and schools love the experience we create and the way we do it.

Our Photographers:

We are looking for highly motivated, hard working, energetic photographers for a seasonal position capturing students and staff. The position requires experienced photographers-- hard working and detail oriented yet with a laid-back attitude. We are actively seeking a team as diverse as the city we live and work in.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Taking fun and unique photos of students in school settings, mainly K-12.

  • Traveling to locations within the Greater New York City area.

  • Setting up and breaking down photography equipment.

  • Ensuring all students are photographed in a warm and friendly environment.

  • Taking pride in making sure all photographs are of the highest quality.

YOU MUST:

  • Have an outgoing personality.

  • Be fabulous around kids (and adults!)

  • Be able to lift at least 45 lbs. You will be bending, crouching, kneeling, moving all day.

  • Be punctual and commit to early call times.

  • Be dedicated, dependable, and patient.

  • Be able to work in a fast-paced and sometimes hectic environment.

  • Have experience with studio lighting and pro camera systems.

  • Be able to attend paid training sessions starting the last two weeks in August

  • Driver’s license is a plus!
